This year’s Lake of the Ozarks Shootout raised a record $100,000 for Lake-area charities. Shootout organizer ‘Captain Ron ‘ Duggan made the announcement:
The Shootout will be donating $100,000 to 22 different organizations: Boy Scouts, Coast Guard Auxiliary,
Coffman Bend Fire Association, Dogwood Animal Shelter, Elks Lodge of Laurie, Habitat For Humanity,
Knights of Columbus – St. Pat’s, Lake of the Ozarks Watershed Alliance, Lake Ozark Elks Club, Lake Ozark Fire Protection District, Lake Ozark Kiwanis, Lake Ozark Shrine Club, Lake West Chamber of Commerce, Laurie/Sunrise Beach Rotary Club, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Mid-County Fire Protection District, Naturalist Club, Northwest Fire Protection District, Osage Beach Fire Protection District, Saddle Club of Camden County, Share The Harvest Food Pantry, Sunrise Beach Fire Protection District:
Monday night, Duggan treated this year’s Shootout volunteers to dinner at Captain Ron’s Bar and Grill:
Duggan says they’ve already held two meetings to start planning for NEXT year’s 25th anniversary Shootout.
