With this year’s General Assembly in full swing, school districts statewide are keeping a close eye on the state capitol for any legislation that could, potentially, have an affect on their daily operations and policies. Michael McShane, with the Show-Me Institute, says he is encouraged by what seems to be an effort to accomplish a lot of good for education across the state.
McShane says, unfortunately, that window of time to get anything done before the session is scheduled to end in May will be here sooner than later. And at that time, the Show-Me Institute will then evaluate what has been passed and what still needs to be addressed in the future.
