If you see a police officer today, don’t forget to say “thank you.” It’s a good message for any day, but January 9th is set aside each year as Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Camdenton-based Concerns of Police Survivors says you can show support in many ways:

 – Wear blue
 – Shine a blue porch light
 – Send a “thank you” card
 – Donate blood in honor of an officer
 – If you’re on facebook, visit facebook.com/nationalcops to change your profile picture to support officers

Law Enforcement Appreciation Day began in 2015.
