Six people are injured, including two children and an infant, in a two-vehicle collision on Highway-H, west of “W” in Benton County.

The highway patrol says a pickup driven by 73-year-old Jerald Brandt, of Lincoln, crossed over the center along a curve hitting another pickup driven by 40-year-old Fred Lang of Cole Camp.

Both drivers were seriously hurt along with a 6-year-old in Lang’s vehicle. Two other children, including the infant, and another passenger in Lang’s vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Five of the six were treated at a nearby hospital while the sixth refused treatment at the scene.
