Soldier at Ft. Leonard Wood Positive for COVID-19

Officials at Fort Leonard Wood have announced the first positive case of COVID-19 affecting a soldier on the base in Pulaski County. A statement released from the public affairs office says the unidentified soldier recently traveled to New York and Florida and was immediately screened and put in isolation for testing. The military and local health officials are in the process of tracing and contacting others the soldier had come in contact with over the past two weeks.
