A number of counties in Missouri are declining to issue marriage licenses to same sex couples after a judge in St. Louis ruled this week that the state’s ban on gay marriage is unconstitutional. The president of the recorder’s association of Missouri says the group is advising county officials that the judge’s ruling applies only to the city of St. Louis and not the rest of the state. Here locally county recorders in Camden, Miller and Morgan counties are also not issuing marriage licenses to same sex couples.
