Spas, Salons & Tattoo Parlors Ordered Closed In Camden County To Fight COVID 19

Local News Wednesday, April 1st, 2020

Sweeping changes are in effect throughout Camden County after commissioners and the health department tighten up measures in the ongoing fight against the Coronavirus.

The county is putting up new rules in the restaurant and personal care industries, including reduced outdoor dining options, limiting waterfront venues with docks to 10 boats at a time and the closure of area salons, spas and tattoo parlors.

Residents can continue visiting the “essential businesses” such as grocery stores, gas stations and banks…so long as everyone is practicing the required six feet for social distancing.

The commission is encouraging businesses to implement a work from home strategy and is warning restaurant and bar owners found to be non-compliant, that they may be subject to suspension of their operating permits.

The changes remain in effect until April 30th and may be extended if need be.
