The Lake Ozark Board of Alderman will have a special meeting on Monday afternoon. The one item on the agenda is an ordinance that would impose a moratorium on the placement, construction and modification of wireless telecommunications facilities in the city. The moratorium would last for 60 days. The bill is a response to the Uniform Wireless Communications Infrastructure Deployment Act which was signed by Governor Nixon in July. An executive session is also on the agenda. The meeting is set for 1:00 on Monday afternoon and will be held at Lake Ozark City Hall.
