The state’s special session continues today. Senate Administrator Marga Hoelscher points out that special sessions can be quite costly. She says the session will cost around $9,000 for one day and around $28,000 per week. The cost breakdown includes paying around $115 per diem for each member and travel reimbursement if the session takes more than one week. The utility bill they’ve been called back to session for is scheduled to be discussed by the House today.
