The Special session on Violent Crime ends abruptly with little accomplished.

The House of Representatives on Thursday took no final action on a number of bills, including the juvenile crime and gun possession bills, as well as a bill to give the Attorney General jurisdiction over murder cases not completed within 90 days.

The Jurisdiction bill, dealing with allowing police officers in St. Louis to live outside the city, did clear the senate following a filibuster.

In the end, the senate did produce the witness protection fund however there has been no determination on how those funds will be covered.
