An 18-year-old from Springfield faces a felony drug charge after being pulled over by the Highway Patrol. Reports indicate it happened early Tuesday night on Highway-5, at Dry Hollow Road, in Camden County. During the stop, the trooper allegedly detected the odor of marijuana and was given consent by the driver, Mary Thomas Vandelicht, to search the vehicle. That search, according to the probable cause statement, uncovered marijuana along with cocaine and paraphernalia. It was also revealed that Vandelicht had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge in Cole County. She was booked into the Camden County Jail and bond was set at one-thousand dollars cash only.
