Police in Camdenton say a man from the St. Louis area accused of forcing himself into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment is in jail on no bond.
It started when a woman talking to the ex-girlfriend on the phone heard her answer the door when someone knocked.
But then there was a scream and the call was disconnected.
Police went to the Whispering Pines Apartments and they found a woman standing in her front door.
Camdenton Police Chief Jeff Beauchamp tells KRMS News they arrested 23-year-old Omar Glass and they say he and the woman had been dating around 10 months ago.
Investigators say the woman moved to the Lake Area to get away from Glass and that he had shown up at her door wearing a ski mask and a hoodie.
Glass is facing five felonies, including attempted rape, kidnapping and assault.
