St. Mary’s Hospital May Soon Be Sold To Tennessee Group

A major hospital in nearby Jefferson City is up for sale.

Officials with SSM Healthcare say they’re working with Quorum Health of Tennessee, who’s planning to purchase the St. Mary’s Hospital that was built in 2014.

The two companies have signed a letter of intent and entered a period of “exclusive negotiation,” of which they hope to have finalized by the 2^nd half of 2021.

SSM also manages several clinics across Mid-Missouri, including one in Lake Ozark and another in Versailles.
