Operators of a natural attraction at Lake of the Ozarks are adding a program for teachers and students. Stark Caverns will be rolling out an in-cave, hands-on learning program next month. It’s designed for elementary and secondary school students and is a partnership with the Museum at Prariefire, an affiliate of the American Museum of Natural History. The curriculum is aligned with the Missouri Learning Standards. The program will consist of learning stations focusing on Social Studies, Science, and English Language Arts. Teachers are invited to learn more at a free sneak preview and informational event scheduled for February 27th. You’re asked to RSVP if you plan to attend. You can do that at www.starkcaverns.com/learningrocks.
