Pulaski County’s Prosecuting Attorney Kevin Hillman says he’s turning over to the Missouri Attorney General’s Office the case of alleged theft of funds from the Waynesville R-VI School District by one of its’ employees. The theft was reported in January. Hillman says among the reasons for the request are his knowledge of and past work with the suspect, as well as possible testimony by school district officials. Hillman says the individual, who hasn’t been identified, isn’t in a position to engage in any criminal activity in relation to the district.
