The State Department of Agriculture and the State Milk Board are calling on all grocery stores to “remove customer limits” on Milk.
In a letter, officials say milk processors are delivering at 100% now and there is no need to hold back.
Two of the major drains for Milk producers were restaurants and schools, but now that the majority of them are closed, farmers are able to divert those supplies to grocery stores statewide.
The call comes on the heels of numerous YouTube videos showing dairy farmers nationwide “dumping” milk, because they are unable to sell it faster than it’s being produced due to current limits at stores.
