Governor Mike Parson has granted flexibility for the department of social services to continue providing for those enrolled in the MO-Health-Net program. Under the directive by the governor: Missouri Medicaid-MO HealthNet eligibility will not be terminated unless requested or the affected individual moves out of state; health coverage will be extended 90 days for those 19-64 who test positive for COVID-19; requirements related to prescription refills and prior authorizations are relaxed; and new provider applications will be expedited. Further, child care subsidy benefits and provider application renewals are being extended for 90 days, additional hours of care are being allowed on a case-by-case basis, food stamp adverse action notices and initial in-person interviews are waived for 90 days, and work requirements for able-bodied adults without dependents under the food stamp program are also being waived for 90 days along.
