According to State Auditor Nicole Galloway, only one third of local governments in the state comply with the Sunshine Laws. Galloway sent out sunshine requests to multiple governments to see if they responded within the required 3 days. Included in the audit were Camden County, Camden County Soil and Water, School of the Osage, Miller County, Morgan County Health Center, and the Versailles Fire Protection District. Information from School of the Osage and Miller County was received within a timely manner, while the information from the Versailles Fire Protection District and Camden County Soil and Water was not. Galloway did not receive a response from Morgan County Health Center or Camden County.
