Several municipalities across the state are sounding the alarm on rubber gloves
Officials say there are too many cases of residents simply throwing them on the ground or leaving them in shopping carts
A recent report by the Washington post indicates those gloves are causing danger to workers in area stores and within the citywide sanitation departments
That’s because COVID 19 can last on plastic or latex material for up to three days
Residents are being asked to “kindly” stop littering their items, or face possible fines if they’re caught.
