State Health Officials Looking At Ramping Up COVID Testing At The Lake

State officials believe more COVID 19 testing may be needed across the four-county region that makes up the Lake.

State health director Dr. Randall Williams. He says it’s important to continue following the social distancing rules now more than ever.

Drive through testing sites were recently dismantled across the lake area and moved into the Lake Regional clinics, as the number of cases dropped below 10 for several weeks prior to the holiday weekend.

The decision to increase testing however does come from the local health departments in Benton, Camden, Miller and Morgan counties.
