Missouri lawmakers get back to work today, after taking a long weekend for Easter break. The Legislature is still trying to redraw the state’s U-S House districts based on population changes from the 2010 Census. Committees worked late into the night, last Friday, but did not come to an agreement on redistricting, so that’s on the table today. House and Senate members are also expected to try and hammer out a final version of the 23 billion dollar operating budget for the State. The two chambers differ on money going to public colleges and universities, school busing and prescription drug subsidies for senior citizens.
