A State of Emergency has been declared in Missouri. Governor Eric Greitens, today, signed an executive order activating resources of the National Guard in anticipation of increased flooding concerns when the bulk of the rain starts falling across southern Missouri tonight. Several roads are already closed due to high water and water rescues have been reported in the southwest part of the state. The State Emergency Operations Center will be working in conjunction with local and other state agencies to respond to any areas that need help because of flooding. Southern Missouri remains under a Flash Flood Warning while, closer to home, the Lake of the Ozarks remains under a Flood Watch until, at least, midnight tonight.
