Work could begin soon on construction of a new interchange on U.S. 54 in Lake Ozark. The Highways and Transportation Commission has approved a contract for just over $9.7 million to replace the existing interchange near the roundabout at Highway W. The plan calls for installation of three separate roundabouts to incorporate the intersections of Route 54, Business 54, Route W, and Osage Hills Road. It’s a two year project with work expected to begin in early 2020.
