State revenue collections are up. According to a report issued by the State Budget Director’s Office, general revenue collections for fiscal year 2018 currently stand at $5.97 billion. That’s more than a four percent increase over collections during the same time period in the last fiscal year. Corporate income and franchise taxes are up by 21%. Individual income tax collections have increased by just over six percent. Overall net collections for the month of February, however, were down by more than 21% from totals seen in 2017.
