Statewide Deer Numbers Top 200,000 For 2020

Missouri Department of Conservation Officials say the statewide total number of Deer Harvested for the year is now Over 209,000.

The overall highest number captured in the Lake area are in Benton and Morgan counties.

Benton is currently over 3,300 deer while Morgan is over 3,000.

Then it’s Camden County with just over 2,500 deer and Miller county has the lowest with right at 2,000 deer harvested.

Pulaski currently has the lowest amount, with around 1,500 deer harvested compared to just over 2,500 in nearby Laclede County.

The November portion of Firearms Season continues through November 24th.
