Stay At Home Order Issued In Cole County

Residents of Cole County and the Jefferson City area are the latest to see a “Stay at home” order be issued in the wake of the COVID 19 crisis.

Officials say it will go into effect Today and remains in place until April 11th.

Like other areas in Mid-Missouri and the Ozarks, all residents will be required to stay home except for essential business like; grocery stores, gas stations, hardware stores, construction and vehicle repair shops.

Cole county health officials say there are nearly 200 tests still pending at this time.

Stay at home orders are already in effect in areas like Columbia, Springfield, St. Louis and Kansas City.
