Stay at home orders are going into effect across the Missouri Ozarks, but not yet for the Lake of the Ozarks area.
The cities of Branson, Ozark, Springfield and all of Greene county, as well as Columbia and all of Boone County enacting rules requiring residents to “stay home” for the next 30 days, starting today and Thursday respectively.
They join a list of Towns and Cities that are growing across the state and the nation, including St. Louis and Kansas City.
The rules call for residents to remain at home and only go out to get essentials, such as groceries or medicine.
Those who are essential workers are also allowed out.
Residents are instead encouraged to take walks and play outside, but remember to practice social distancing and keep gatherings to no more than 10 people.
