The stepfather of a girl who was murdered near Iberia in June will be in court on Wednesday. Jerry Henderson the second of Iberia will be arraigned in Miller County Court on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm. He was arrested after hundreds of pounds of ammunition and more than 20 firearms were found in his bedroom inside a home that was being searched as part of the investigation into the death of 13-year old Macala Shelton. Henderson is a convicted felon and is not allowed to have guns or ammunition. He is being held at the Miller County Jail on a bond of 50 thousand dollars. His brother, Steven Henderson, is charged with murder and armed criminal action for allegedly stabbing Shelton to death. He will be in court on September 16th.
