The case of Timothy Stovall saw a conclusion when he entered a guilty plea in a 2013 Gravois Mills shooting. According to court documents, Stovall pled guilty before Judge Stan Moore for assault in the second degree, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm. Stovall is accused of shooting 65 year old Leon Cott in the head during an argument that happened at his home. Cott survived the shooting and was able to contact police to report the incident, leading authorities to arrest Stovall. Stovall also pled guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the first degree at a case in October of 2007. He will serve seven years in the Department of Corrections concurrently for all three counts.
