Stover Pastor Court Cases Continued

A Stover pastor accused of sex crimes that allegedly happened several years ago gets a continuance in his court cases.  Yesterday, 42-year old Travis Smith appeared in Moniteau County court.  He is charged with statutory rape and statutory sodomy from an incident in January of 2005.  Smith is also facing charges of rape, statutory rape and sexual abuse from an incident in March of 1998 and another charge of statutory rape from February of 1999.  He will be back in court for another case review on Tuesday, January 29^th.  Smith is the pastor of the First Baptist Church in Stover and remains free on bond.
