Stover Police have released details of a drug bust they made earlier this week. Chief Trampus Jackson says the events began Monday when an officer noticed a man and woman staggering into a Casey’s General Store. After an initial investigation Peggy Bise was fingerprinted and taken home. Later that day it was learned that she had an alias of Peggy Huckaby and was wanted on a warrant from the probation and parole department. When the officers returned to her residence they received permission to conduct a search and found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Huckaby was charged with possession of controlled substance and paraphernalia. Adam Bise was also arrested and faces the same charges. Peggy was taken to jail with a $15,000 bond. Bise was released on his own recognizance. A third suspect – Matthew Thomas – was charged with possession of a controlled substance and taken to the Morgan County Jail.
