The Camdenton R-3 School district is speaking up about a video posted to Facebook showing a girl filming herself in a restroom crying while other students outside the stall threaten her.

“Anytime there is a situation where a student would feel uncomfortable, we want them to report that and report it to someone they trust. Our administrative team will deal with any of those situations very appropriately and very quickly.”

Dr. Tim Hadfield, Superintendent for the Camdenton schools, tells KRMS News he knows the students in the video, who have been identified, and administrators are taking the appropriate actions.

“If any situation arose with a student, if they felt they were being threatened or bullied, our task and we will….we will not condone such behavior and we will respond appropriately to it.”

We will not be releasing the name of the girl seen in the video or the others who can be heard in the background.
