The best way to prevent a heart attack or any other poor health incident from occurring is to monitor your health as best as possible. Sunrise Beach Firefighters are doing what they can to help you do just that. They’ve announced that they’ll be providing free blood pressure screenings on the first and thirds Saturdays of the month through Labor Day weekend. The screenings will be outside the main entrance of Woods Supermarket on Highway 5. Chief Dennis Reilly points out that there are many senior citizens in the district and he believes it is very beneficial for them to monitor their blood pressure.
