The Village of Sunrise Beach is in the process of finalizing its phase one sewer project. In a report submitted to village board of trustees, it was announced the contractors are in the process of cleaning up and all scheduled customers are online with the exception of tortilla flats restaurant. It was also reported there were $200-thousand dollars in excess funds left over from the project. A couple suggestions were made to the board including adding more sewer line, connecting more customers and/or connecting the currently uninhabited C.G. Mini Mart. No decision has yet been made by the board. The next two items to be completed include the phase 3 water and phase 2 sewer projects.
