The Sunrise Beach Fire Protection District is warning citizens that there is a person contacting residents regarding smoke detectors and fire extinguishers, claiming they are representing the Sunrise Beach Fire Protection District. The district is NOT making any such calls and if someone does receive such a call, you are advised not to give any information and hang up immediately.
