Residents of Sunrise Beach should expect to see a rise in their water bill. The Board of Trustees approved a user rate charge that will have residential customers paying a minimum of $46.89 a month. That rate will be for up to 4,000 gallons of water usage. Customers who go over 4,000 will be charged $10.50 for each additional 1,000 gallons of water, marking a $1.62 increase. The rate will go into effect on Monday. The Board says the additional charge will provide extra money required to pay off expense’s that have accumulated in the village’s water system.
