De-escalation training for Police Officers is the primary concern among Missouri residents.

That’s according to a new survey conducted by the Missouri Post Commission following public comments in August and September.

The Commission says that they plan to do a deeper dive into the data, including a NAACP Report that Black Missourians are stopped 75% more often than White Missourians.

The commission will meet to discuss these issues and more on October 5th and could make a recommendation to police training at that time.
