The Sustainable Ozarks Partnership is taking their 8th annual meeting virtual this year.

Officials say the event will be held as planned, on August 20th from 9AM until noon, but as a webinar instead.

Some of the speakers for this year’s event include Senators Roy Blunt and Josh Hawley, Representative Vicky Hartzler, Missouri Governor Mike Parson and Fort Leonard Wood Commander General James Bonner.

The meeting’s goal is to report on all accomplishments and performances, as well as setting new objectives for the coming year.


Sustainable Ozarks Partnership to hold virtual annual meeting

The Sustainable Ozarks Partnership will host their 8th Annual Meeting virtually on Thursday, August 20 from 9 a.m. until noon. This webinar will maintain the same structure as previous annual meetings, but it will be condensed due to the event being held virtually.

The following distinguished leaders will provide attendees with insightful updates about the important work happening at the local, state, and federal levels in support of our national defense, Fort Leonard Wood and the Fort Leonard Wood Region.

This year’s speakers will include:

  • Senator Roy Blunt
  • Senator Josh Hawley
  • Representative Vicky Hartzler
  • Missouri Governor Mike Parson
  • Fort Leonard Wood and MSCoE Commanding General Brigadier General James Bonner
  • Missouri Military Advocate and Association of Defense Communities President Joe Driskill
  • Mike Dubois, Director, Defense and International, Kit Bond Strategies
  • Steve Hyjek, Baker Donelson Associates

During the meeting the SOP will also report on organizational accomplishments, consider the organization’s performance over the past year, and set objectives for the coming year.
