Missouri senators have  passed $40 million in annual tax breaks for farmers, ranchers and other agriculture-related businesses.

The measure was approved by the House last week, and in a Tuesday morning vote it passed the Senate on a vote of 26-3.

It approves 10 agriculture-related tax credits which will be in place for six years.

The Republican governor is  expected to sign the legislation as well as an income tax measure passed last Thursday later this week.
