Key legislation was passed recently on Capital Hill. That’s according to Missouri’s 4th Congressional district congresswoman Vicky Hartzler who says one of the issues this past week that the house took action on dealt with was to extend protections for taxpayers. These extensions, which affect one in six taxpayers, provide tax credits for research and development, for renewable energy operations that produce electricity as well as for food banks. According to Hartzler, tax credits were also extended for biodiesel and other alternative energy projects.
