If you’re doing your Thanksgiving shopping this weekend, check your receipt when you’re done. According to the American Farm Bureau, Missouri residents will pay less than the average American to prepare a traditional holiday dinner for 10. It’s estimated that a meal consisting of turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, peas, a relish tray, cranberries, rolls, pumpkin pie, coffee and milk will cost $46.67. There have been significant price drops this year on turkeys, sweet potatoes, stuffing, and cranberries. Nationwide, the average cost for the same meal will be a couple dollars higher at $48.91.
