The city of Osage Beach is set to have some major expansion in 2013 as new stores and residents begin to move in town. Mayor Penny Lyons says the city has more building permits than last year at this time and she is looking forward to some news businesses opening soon.
Lyons mention that the city will have several events this year, one of which is the grand opening of Dierbergs at the old High Pointe Shopping Center
Lyons also says the city will have many tournaments at their city park this year and the city will be operating the concession stand at all of the games.
As far as growth is concerned, the city is growing rapidly…so much so that both Camdenton and School of the Osage are having issues keeping up, which is why both schools are having bond issues on the April 2nd Ballot
