The Lake’s First Winter Storm Of 2020 Likely To Hit This Week

The first major winter system is moving into the Lake area this week.

Weather officials believe we could start seeing a snow, rain and wintry mix on Tuesday and it’s expected to last until Thursday.

There could be some snow accumulation as well.

As the storm approaches, MODOT is getting ready by applying a beat juice mix to the roadways.

Speaking with KB on the Ozarks This Morning, Central Engineer Bob Lynch says they’re mostly ready for the storm, with just a few salt and sand mix deliveries left to go.

Lynch says the biggest issue continues to be staffing and they’re still hiring if you want to join before the storm hits.
