An irate parent finds herself in the Miller County Jail after not seeing eye-to-eye with the School of the Osage District. Lieutenant Michael O’Day, with the Osage Beach Police Department, says the trouble started when Kelly Norman was contacted by school district officials about an, apparent, truancy problem.
Norman was taken into custody Friday at School of the Osage and then taken to the Miller County Jail and booked in on a charge of Making a Terrorist Threat. Bond was set at $25-thousand. A bond reduction hearing is on the docket for next Monday.
