Three people are safe after their pontoon boat gets stuck at the Osage River lock and dam over the weekend.
 
According to the Jefferson City Fire Department, their boat was caught in the fast-moving current and swept into lock # 3, lodging it onto the concrete section of the dam.
 
All 3 people were rescued via rope and brought back onto land.
 
Numerous agencies including the Westphalia Fire Department and the Missouri Highway Patrol assisted in the rescue.
