Drug charges are filed in Morgan County against two people who live in Versailles. Deborah
Jean Moberly and Dougless Middleton, who live in the 400-block of Clay Street, are each
charged with one felony count of possessing a controlled substance and a misdemeanor count of
possessing paraphernalia. Moberly is also charged with delivery of a controlled substance. Her
bond was set at $50-thousand while Middleton’s bond was set at $5-thousand.
In an unrelated case, a Versailles man jailed in Morgan County is facing charges for drugs and moter vehicle violations. 20-year old Mark A. Griffin was placed on a 24-hour hold following his arrest by the state highway patrol. Griffin’s charged with possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended, and no insurance.
