Three Lake area residents are recovering following a two-car crash in Morgan County.
The Highway Patrol says a GMC Driven by 79-year-old Gary Cook of Stover, tried to make a left turn onto Route FF from Highway 52 and pulled into the path of a Toyota heading east.
The Driver, 29-year-old Ashley Harrison of Versailles, struck the GMC, injuring Harrison and her two daughters in the car.
All three were taken to Bothwell Regional Hospital for treatment. Harrison and her 10-year-old daughter suffered serious injuries, while her 9-year-old daughter had only minor injuries.
The Patrol says that Harrison was not wearing a seatbelt, however Cook was wearing his seatbelt and he did not suffer any injuries.
