The Highway Patrol reports three separate accidents involving nine people in Miller County on Thursday.
Three people were taken to Lake Regional with moderate injuries following a crash on 54 at Lakeland Road. 52-year old Gail Frailey of Lake Ozark attempted to make a left turn onto Lakeland from 54 and failed to yield to a vehicle driven by Jennifer Nelson of St. Peters. Nelson’s vehicle also had a passenger from Florida. That wreck happened shortly after 2:30 in the afternoon. Frailey was later arrested on three warrants for DWI, failure to drive on the right side, and no insurance. She faces new charges of failing to yield and no insurance.
The other accidents happened on Missouri 42 about 15 minutes later and resulted in minor injuries to a Kaiser woman. The string of accidents began just before 9am on Route W with a wreck that resulted in minor injuries to a 19-year old Barnett girl.
