The Camden County Sheriff’s Office is sending out its annual words of advice for getting around during this holiday season. Sheriff Tony Helms says, if you plan to hit the road, there are a few tips to keep you and your family safe. They include: not drinking and driving, keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel, be courteous and…above all…wear your seat belt. Helms also says, if you suspect somebody is driving impaired, not to hesitate reporting it to local law enforcement or the highway. In the case of an emergency, the highway patrol can best be reached by dialing star-55 on your cell phone.
