Rolla Chief: Toaster Caused Fatal Fire

The Chief of the Rolla Rural Fire Department says the blaze that destroyed a house on South Highway 63 and killed 39 year old Linda Light, ten year old Benjamin Light and 16 month old Brooklyn Light was likely started by an electrical problem with the toaster in the kitchen. The Phelps County coroner says all three died from smoke inhalation and flames.
